The Attorney General Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut stated that they are suing Eli Lilly over the marketing of their drug Zyprexa.
Connecticut is looking to recover more than $190 million that the state spent over the years.

Blumenthal put out a statement in regards to the lawsuit, stating “The illegal marketing campaign exploited children and senior citizens — causing severe weight gain, diabetes and cardiovascular problems. This scheme involved payments to public officials, bogus educational events and ghostwritten promotional articles summarizing suspect studies.”
